Has Kirk had an OC that moved on to bigger and better things? And by that I don’t mean just no longer being his OC. O’keefe maybe?
He’s only had 3. Davis retired and the other was BF. I think by default it’s O’Keefe

Honestly, probably need a search committee because of Kirk's age. I know I'd want some guarantees in my contract if I'm uprooting my family.

Maybe she was offered and turned it down. After a year there, she might've realized that she could do better and the trajectory of the major sports isn't going to be good over the next few years.

The search committee is standard procedure for positions reporting to the university president.

The search committee often knows who they want; however, they have to comply with the policy if a candidate who wasn't hired feels they were not treated fairly.

A lot of this is for show.

I get that but the timing is weird. Why not have a committee in place as soon as Barta stepped aside?
