I think Iowa is out of the picture now that we offered. If the big boys come after him during camps, we will have our hands full.

I might be in the minority in this because I’ve said this multiple times but with Coach Campbell on a roll….we are one of the big boys.

Trying to figure out how you’re in the minority.

TBH, we just can’t fall back out of the national spotlight like our neighbors to the north did last year. Apparently they lost an oar in the lake somewhere.

I’ve had others on this site say I’m getting ahead of myself…or getting my hopes up or something idk. Matt Campbell is that dude…everyone needs to see his speech after they beat Oregon

The video quality of that throw is not great but doesn't look like that ball is a perfect spiral and wobbles a bit? Imagine if that was a tight spiral it could have gone further. Regardless to be able to throw a ball that far is impressive and you can always work on mechanics with that kind of an arm. Would be a great signing if we could get this kid and work with him and the fact his dad played at ISU plus he's just down the road at Ankeny we can only hope...

Mahomes threw an 80 yard bomb as his last throw at the pro day before the NFL draft. Mahomes is a once in a generation talent so I am not trying to compare Kohl to him but just saying you can't teach that kind of arm strength

So, the record is 564,664 yards. Tough to beat that.

  • NASA astronaut Tim Kopra threw a football pass down the length of the International Space Station. Considering that the station travels at 17,500 mph (28,163 km/h), NASA estimated that the ball was technically covering about 8,800 yards per second (8046 m/s) as seen from Earth. In total, the ball traveled 564,664 yards (516,328 meters)

Go to Jupiter and throw a pass and you will beat that.
