I might be in the minority in this because I’ve said this multiple times but with Coach Campbell on a roll….we are one of the big boys.

TBH, we just can’t fall back out of the national spotlight like our neighbors to the north did last year. Apparently they lost an oar in the lake somewhere.

The video quality of that throw is not great but doesn't look like that ball is a perfect spiral and wobbles a bit? Imagine if that was a tight spiral it could have gone further. Regardless to be able to throw a ball that far is impressive and you can always work on mechanics with that kind of an arm. Would be a great signing if we could get this kid and work with him and the fact his dad played at ISU plus he's just down the road at Ankeny we can only hope...
Mahomes threw an 80 yard bomb as his last throw at the pro day before the NFL draft. Mahomes is a once in a generation talent so I am not trying to compare Kohl to him but just saying you can't teach that kind of arm strength

Remember that JJ hasn’t even started his junior year in high school yet. He’s what, sixteen? Mahones (and the pros mentioned below) were all much older.
