In-State football recruiting, news, and gossip

That is the reported rumor. I agree, it's just a rumor. And who knows how hard this kid worked, he may have plenty of natural talent and could actually be a lazy kid who has more potential. I mean, that is more likely given the fact that his offers aren't committable to the P5 schools. Likely...

In-State football recruiting, news, and gossip

There is a big difference between someone calling a "scrub" and releasing information about a kids grades. Iowa has plenty of kids this recruiting class that could be described as "scrubs" based on their offers. Also, wasn't it the Iowa staff broke the news about his grades? It's not like it's...

Where Will ISU End Up if the Big 12 Implodes?

Sorry but if best case scenario happens, I want ISU to try to get into the Big 10. Texas and OU will be back in this position again when they want more, which is inevitable. I'm tired of their greed. **** or get off the pot. It's unfortunate that it is ******* over 8 other schools.

NIL: TexAgs.com (CF equivalent at A&M) sponsors two players at $10,000 each for exclusive interviews ahead of SEC media days

No I am not. But I can understand why you are reading it that way. Saying guys why's will change during recruiting, but we will still go after the same type of why players.

I'm sure. You have to remember this is the transition phase right now. These kids are at those school right now for other reasons than money. Once kids start going to schools because of money, it will change.

Sorry, but money isn't the issue here. Most of it comes down to culture. If it was money, Texas would be better than us currently.

No, but those guys are playing because they love the game. Not because they love the money.

Pollard is always well in front of things when they happen. I can guarantee you that he is not simply reacting like many fans.

We have probably one of the most adaptive staffs in the country. I'd be more concerned if we had a staff that was flexible. Universities like Iowa are going to have more difficulty imo because many of those coaches are set in their ways. Hell, Iowa didn't allow kids to have twitter forever. So...

NIL: TexAgs.com (CF equivalent at A&M) sponsors two players at $10,000 each for exclusive interviews ahead of SEC media days

I'll give it a shot. It shows which players are in the game for the love of the game, not the money. If you are chasing money, the earlier you get it, the faster you will top out and stop giving for football. If you're chasing your best self, as Campbell recruits for, the money will come late...

It means we evaluated him and felt we could do better. Iowa evaluated him and then offered like 8 other qbs before deciding he was good enough. Similar to their tight end recruiting.

He beat out Kentucky and Colorado. It doesn't sound as impressive when you say Iowa.

Rutgers is killing a lot of schools. Racism and Brian Ferentz is what's killing Iowa.
